Nathan Starts Solids!

We started Nathan on solids today! Fun! Who doesn't like a little mashed banana here and there?

NATHAN!
You know, for being a kid who puts everything (and I mean everything) in his mouth, he sure didn't really enjoy US putting anything in his mouth.

But we did get plenty of pictures and recorded the whole monumental event. :)

Maybe he'll like it more in a couple days... Just wait until he gets to broccoli and asparagus.

And afterward, of course, he got a bath! Which he LOVES--especially when he has NEW bath toys! FUN! They really are pretty cool-- these turtles that all have different colors and different things on their shells (one is a rattle, another has a mirror, etc). Only problem is that they're too slippery for him to catch very easily. When he finally got a hold of one it was already time to get out and dry off... Bummer!

But we had fun smearing banana all over everything and hoping that even a tiny, tiny bit actually got in his mouth, down his throat, to be digested-- (it could reverse from any point on that timeline).
